Indian Hills Student walking to grab free sample of Dunkin Refresher
On Monday, October 21st, Dunkin’ Donuts hosted a pop-up event at Indian Hills High School during the lunch periods. This event, run by Dunkin’s marketing company, featured a Dunkin’ Branded Jeep, $5 gift cards, and free samples of the popular Strawberry Dragon Fruit refreshers. The Dunkin’ Pop Up event was spearheaded by Ramapo Indian Hills Wellness, managed by Mrs. Robinson, who managed a list of all students’ names at Hills to ensure gift cards were properly handed out.
A potential reason Dunkin’ Donuts ran this event was to directly attract students and teachers to buy goods at local Dunkin’ Donuts chains. There are two Dunkin’ Donuts locations, Oakland (338 Ramapo Valley Road) and Franklin Lakes (794 Franklin Ave) within a two–mile radius of Indian Hills. With a $5 gift card, students and teachers are incentivized to visit Dunkin’ locations, spend $5 or more, and potentially repeat business, thus promoting brand awareness within the FLOW community.
