At the end of this school year, Mrs. Winters, an assistant media specialist in the school library, will be retiring. Reminiscing about her time at Indian Hills, Mrs. Winter comments on how she “loved working at Indian Hills, all the faculty are so friendly and fun to be with and it was nice working with the students, it’s just a great environment.”

Due to her fondness for reading, she, of course, noted how she loved and will miss the library. Relishing her final weeks as an assistant media specialist, Mrs. Winters continues to assist students, leaving a positive impact on the Indian Hills community. When asked about her plans for the next chapter of her life, Mrs. Winter is looking forward to “babysitting for my four grandchildren, traveling a little bit, and reading a lot of books.” She is excited to relax and have a tranquil retirement. Next fall, Mrs. Winter’s presence will no doubt be missed throughout the Indian Hills school community.
